Woolwich and Firefox

Woolwich in their wisdom have decided NOT to support Firefox as a browser for accessing their Internet banking service. Here is my letter and their response:

p.s. On mailing their support people asking for a non-automated response, I talked to a very nice woman who explained that, because they were being taken over by Barclays, all funding for their web site has ceases, except for esential maintenance.

Thank-you for your recent feedback about the Woolwich Internet Banking service.
We are sorry to hear that you have been experiencing problems with accessing the online bank using the Mozilla Firefox Broswer. Guidelines of our recommended and supported operating systems/browser combinations can be found within the FAQ's, in the 'Contact Us' section of our website. Whilst it may be possible to access the online bank using Mozilla Firefox it has not been fully tested by us and therefore not supported. Unfortunately, there are no current plans to offer support at this time.
If you have any further queries regarding our Internet Banking please do not hesitate to contact us on our direct line 0845 6000 999 (choosing option 1), we are available every day between 8am and 10pm.
